WELCOME TO THE BIG MOUNTAIN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

The Big Mountain Short Film Festival was held annually for 5 years in Ohakune from 2006 - 2010. We have taken a year off, and plan to return soon with a new look and an exciting new direction.

The FIFTH ANNUAL Big Mountain Short Film Festival was a FREE one-night-only event held on Labour Weekend in Ohakune:
October 23, 2010

The Big Mountain Short Film Festival celebrates short films from across New Zealand and around the world. We have screened shorts from over 30 countries, from micro-budget to massive budget.

Entirely FREE and held in Ohakune, New Zealand on the Saturday of Labour Weekend, October 23, 2010, the fifth annual Big Mountain Short Film Festival brings together experienced professionals and film novices alike to foster new talents and forge new relationships within the New Zealand film industry.
